Generally, there are three types of analysis Quicksilver can provide, total mercury analysis, mercury speciation, and expanded mercury speciation, although our advanced technology and understanding of mercury chemistry allow us to provide custom analysis as well.

• Total Mercury Analysis: all types of mercury reported as one lump sum
• Standard Mercury Speciation Analysis: direct measurement of methylmercury and inorganic mercury in a sample.
• Expanded Mercury Speciation Analysis: measurement of ethylmercury, the mercury form found in some vaccines,
  in addition to standard speciation analysis.
• Custom Mercury Analysis: individually tailored experiments
  on any form of mercury not included in speciation anaylses.
