Environmental Events: Detoxification Solutions for Recovery
July 12 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
In the first seven weeks of 2023 alone, there were more than 30 incidents recorded by the Coalition to Prevent Chemical Disasters. In 2022, the coalition recorded 188, up from 177 in 2021. The group has tallied more than 470 incidents since it started counting in April 2020. Over 200 wildfires have been reported since June, 2023 in Central Canada causing unprecendented damage to land and air quality. There are thousands of potentially carcinogenic contaminants in our midst and it takes a concerted effort to avoid exposure. But what happens when there is a chemical or environmental disaster in our area and we have no control? We know that the resulting damage of toxin exposure will have long term health consequences on some communities and may be causing problems for your patients. In this webinar, Dr. Shade will review some of these environmental events of this year, and provide insights and applications for effective detoxification of contaminants.
