Quicksilver Scientific hires Michelle Ahbe to lead New Brand Development Initiatives
Beverage industry veteran brings vast consumer packaged goods experience
Louisville, Colo. (Dec. 2, 2020)—Michelle Ahbe has been named Quicksilver Scientific’s Director of Marketing Brand Development, bringing with her a decade of consumer packaged goods brand management experience. With experience growing premium boutique brands such as Blue Moon, as well as popular favorites including Coors Light, Ahbe most recently served as senior marketing manager at Molson Coors Beverage Company, overseeing nine consecutive years of double-digit growth globally for the Blue Moon family of brands.
A leader in the field of health and nutrition supplements, Quicksilver Scientific selected Ahbe due to her history of leading cross-functional teams in the development of iconic brand strategies and highly creative programs that produce results.

As the Director of Marketing Brand Development, Ahbe will lead Quicksilver Scientific’s long-term consumer strategy including an assessment of the current portfolio to identify potential growth segments and markets. In the role, Ahbe will work with a team to develop and orchestrate the execution of an integrated communications strategy across multiple touchpoints, with the goals of driving growth into high-value consumer segments and markets, recruiting new consumers and building long-term, sustainable brand equity.

At Molson, Ahbe enjoyed a reputation for developing go-to-market strategies and new product launch tactics solidly rooted in consumer insights. During her tenure at Molson, Ahbe was responsible for the international expansion and double-digit growth of Blue Moon. Most recently, she led the national launch of Blue Moon LightSky, a new offering from Blue Moon Brewing Company. LightSky has been hailed as the top-selling new beer in the United States for 2020 by Nielsen and one of the most celebrated innovation launches for Molson Coors. Ahbe’s experience and skill in global brand expansion and management across 25 international markets will help propel Quicksilver’s growth into new markets. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University.
